I had my old portacath in for 16 years. My new one I’ve had in for almost a year and a half, I still get nervous when it’s about to be accessed. Incase for whatever reason it’s packed in.
When I had my old one removed and the new one put in I chose to be awake for it, one Surgeon was removing my old one while another was putting in my new one.

Just a thought. This is probably the longest I’ve been over the past few winters where my chest hasn’t started getting overly bad yet, further more I’m still feeling quite chipper!

But, I really need to stop being so lazy and start doing some exercise. Really try keep on top of it this winter.

So as part of one of my uni modules we have to do an end of year show exhibition. Today my year group and I had a meeting with a dude that runs gallery space, more importantly he has a separate area for photography. It’s a nice space, and we have provisional dates of when we exhibit our work. Awesome. We shall be exhibiting our work in May/June time. I am nervous and excited about it...
I forgot the last 20 minutes of Alien has basically strobe effects throughout. It’s like I’m in a warehouse rave. But being comfortable on a bed in the warmth instead.
Tonight was good.
Went out with the lady and a few friends, went to a Burger bar then had a couple games of bowling, our bowling names were: Scrote, Bellend, Cunt, Rimgag and Analbeads. (we’re grown up, honest)

Incredibly tired, is this due to CF, low vitamin levels, lack of sleep or all three? Probably a combination of all three pretty much. Either way I dislike feeling this run down. My spazzy CF guts decided to be a dick tonight. Great. See how I feel in the morning as to whether I go to uni or not.
